WATCH: Who's Your Favorite Fierce Female?

In honor of Joan of Arc, heroine of our season-capping production of Honegger's Joan of Arc at the Stake, we asked New Yorkers all over the city who their favorite fierce female was. The answers were hilarious, moving, historical, personal, and more. Just watch.

Speaking of fierce females, can you spot the violinist who in March performed with us in the World Premiere of John Adams's Scheherazade.2 (herself depicting a fierce female)? Or the soprano who plays the Virgin in Joan of Arc at the Stake?

Who's your favorite fierce female? Tell us on social media using #nypfierce
