It was a reunion of friends and family at Bravo! Vail on Thursday, July 26: former Assistant Conductor Joshua Weilerstein led Elgar’s moving Cello Concerto with MacArthur “genius grant” recipient and frequent Philharmonic collaborator Alisa Weilerstein — his sister. The concert was part of the Orchestra’s 16th annual summer residency at Bravo! Vail.
