On July 1, 2017, Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic — in China for the third annual Shanghai Orchestra Academy and Residency Partnership — reunited with Yefim Bronfman in this rehearsal of Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 2 for the next night’s Opening Concert of the 2017 Music in the Summer Air festival.
