New Music, New Ensemble, New Hall

The New York Philharmonic String Quartet made its German debut in John Adams’s rollicking Absolute Jest on April 4, 2017, conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert in the New York Philharmonic’s first appearances in Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, which opened in January.
