Philharmonic Free Fridays Begin September 25

Posted September 21, 2015

Philharmonic Free Fridays are back, starting this week!

For the second year in a row, the New York Philharmonic offers 100 free tickets to young people ages 13–26 to each of the season’s 15 Friday evening subscription concerts. The online sign-up opens at noon on the Monday before a given Friday concert.

The season’s first Philharmonic Free Friday, on September 25 at 8:00 p.m. and available now, kicks the program off with a bang: the concert features Alan Gilbert conducting LA Variations by The Marie-Josée Kravis Composer-in-Residence Esa-Pekka Salonen and Richard Strauss’s Ein Heldenleben, featuring Frank Huang in his debut as the Philharmonic's Concertmaster.
