Well, the Kansas City Royals have gone about as fer as they can go.

Last night, the amazin’ New York Mets lost the World Series to the now-reigning Kansas City Royals. So, as New York Philharmonic Music Director Alan Gilbert explains, the Philharmonic will honor our wager with the Kansas City Symphony and music director Michael Stern.

Mazel tov, Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Symphony, and Kansas City. New York’s finest bagels and lox are on their way.
