Back to Ann Arbor! Philharmonic and UMS Announce Five-Year Residency

Posted December 02, 2014

NY Philharmonic University Musical Society

We are thrilled to be heading back to Ann Arbor, Michigan, in October 2015, and again in the 2017–18 and 2019–20 seasons, part of a five-year residency partnership with The University Musical Society of the University of Michigan.

This partnership is the centerpiece of a larger program bringing three different orchestras to Ann Arbor’s Hill Auditorium each season. Each residency will include concerts, master classes and workshops for University of Michigan students, and activities for the regional community. The other orchestras are the Berlin Philharmonic and one yet to be announced.

If you're a Michigan alum, the October 2015 concerts are during Homecoming Weekend, so we hope to see you there! Tickets will be available in spring 2015; residency details will be announced in the fall. For more information, contact the UMS Ticket Office at (734) 764-2538 or email to be added to the email list for further information.

At press time, it was unclear if the Orchestra would be involved in a halftime show:
