Electronic Wire Transfer

You may choose to contribute to the Philharmonic via wire transfer. Please contact us at devops@nyphil.org or (212) 875-5381 for account information and to ensure proper crediting of your gift.

Securities and Stock

You may also contribute via a securities or stock transfer brokered by your financial representative. Gifts can be transferred directly into the Philharmonic’s account at Morgan Stanley. Donor-Advised Fund

You may contribute to your donor-advised fund (DAF) account and subsequently recommend distributions to the Philharmonic. Please contact your sponsoring organization to advise on donating, bylaws, and guidelines regarding gift direction and bifurcation.

Tax benefits are received at the time of donation to the DAF. For this reason, and in accordance with IRS regulations, DAF distributions cannot qualify for any benefits or special events of monetary value. All donors will receive benefits that have insubstantial or no market value.

IRA

Your qualified charitable distribution (QCD) may satisfy all or part of the amount of your required minimum distribution from your IRA. Generally, a QCD is an otherwise taxable distribution from an IRA owned by an individual who is age 70 ½ or older that is paid directly from the IRA to a qualified charity, such as the New York Philharmonic.

In accordance with IRS regulations, membership benefits are not available when making gifts from IRAs. All donors will receive benefits that have insubstantial or no market value.

Matching Gifts

Maximize your support through matching gifts, which are offered by many employers for staff contributions or volunteer hours. The impact of your gift to the Philharmonic may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and / or spouses. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please enter your employer’s name below.
