The New York Philharmonic has long provided our city with music that uplifts, inspires, challenges, and comforts. The support of our resilient community has been crucial to our success since our first concert in 1842. We look forward to many more concerts, and we remain committed to excellence in every area of our work — from acclaimed performances and innovative educational programs to first-rate customer service.

Our community will always sit at the center of our guiding principles.

You can expect the following:

  • In partnership with Lincoln Center, we will comply with all federal, state, and city guidelines for health and safety. These include, but are not limited to, meeting HVAC system requirements, cleaning surfaces regularly, and providing hand sanitizer. Any policy or schedule changes will be communicated in a timely and transparent way. For our current health and safety guidelines, please visit nyphil.org/safety.
  • Audience members will no longer be required to show proof of full vaccination in order to attend a performance or event.
  • Beginning on October 24, masks will no longer be required at NY Phil concerts. Masks and face coverings will be encouraged, but they will be optional.
  • If you’re feeling ill or have symptoms related to a cold or infectious disease, please stay home.
  • The safety of our audiences, musicians, and staff will be our highest priority.
  • We are committed to creating a memorable experience in a comfortable setting for every member of our audience.
