Gorgeous both sonically and visually, the Rose Theater uses ambitious elements such as a retractable concert shell ceiling and a sophisticated acoustical curtain and banner system to help tailor the sound quality of the hall to individual performances.

    To reach Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, go to the Time Warner Center and enter on 58th St., 60th St., or at Columbus Circle. Take the Jazz at Lincoln Center Elevators near the 60th St. entrance to the fifth floor, where you will find the Rose Theater, The Appel Room, Dizzy’s Club, and the Irene Diamond Education Center.

  • Late Seating 

    We suggest you arrive 30 minutes before the concert is scheduled to begin. New York Philharmonic concerts begin promptly at the announced starting time. Ticketholders who come late will not be seated in the hall until after the conclusion of the first work on the program. Concertgoers who must leave the hall before or during the playing of a piece will not be reseated until after that piece is concluded. In consideration of the performers and fellow concertgoers, we ask that you remain in your seat until the concert has ended.
