“Roomful of Teeth is revolutionizing choral music,” declared The New Yorker in 2019. The Grammy-winning vocal ensemble — who introduced the world to the work that made Caroline Shaw the youngest Pulitzer Prize for Music winner in history — joins the New York Philharmonic for a two-week takeover. At the center is the premiere of a new work by Shaw commissioned by the Philharmonic. A Sound ON new-music evening, Nightcaps, and perhaps even a few surprises round out this takeover.
