In the 2016–17 season, the New York Philharmonic again invites young people to hear the Orchestra free of charge. We're giving away 100 free tickets to every Friday evening subscription concert to people ages 13–26.

Free Fridays

Here's how reservation works

The online reservation portal will open at noon on the Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday) before each Philharmonic Free Fridays concert. The link to the portal will be available on this page.

You'll be able to reserve a ticket on a first-come, first-served basis — one ticket per person. Online sign-up will close once all available tickets have been reserved.

Your reserved ticket will be available for pickup with a valid ID at the Box Office in David Geffen Hall on the day of the concert between 5:30 PM and 7:15 PM. If you do not pick up your ticket at least 45 minutes before the start of the concert, we will release it.

If you'd like to receive an e-mail notification when the reservation portal opens on concert weeks, follow this link.

Free Fridays

We look forward to seeing you at a Philharmonic Free Fridays concert soon. At the concert tweet/gram a selfie with #philfreefriday — after each Free Friday, we'll pick one and give you some free Philharmonic swag!
