In the 2019–20 season, the New York Philharmonic again invites young people to hear the Orchestra free of charge. We’re giving away free tickets to select Friday subscription concerts to people ages 13–26.

Here’s how reservation works:

The online reservation portal will open at noon on the Monday before each Philharmonic Free Fridays concert. The link to the portal will be available on this page.

You’ll be able to reserve a ticket on a first-come, first-served basis — one ticket per person. Online sign-up will close once all available tickets have been reserved.

Your reserved ticket will be available for pick-up on the day of the concert at the Box Office in David Geffen Hall up until 45 minutes before the concert begins. Please bring a valid, government-issued photo ID to verify your age.

  • Terms and Conditions

Over the past two seasons, Philharmonic Free Fridays have been very popular, and typically reservations have been claimed within minutes of the form opening. We ask all Free Fridays responders to please let us know by noon on the Thursday before the concert if you are unable to attend so that we may reallocate your tickets to others.

Those who miss their concert without contacting us ahead of time may put their eligibility at risk. After two missed concerts without contacting us, the attendee will not be permitted to attend another Free Fridays concert for three months.

If you'd like to receive an e-mail notification when the reservation portal opens on concert weeks, follow this link.

We look forward to seeing you at a Philharmonic Free Fridays concert soon. At the concert tweet/gram a selfie with #philfreefriday — you may win some free Philharmonic swag!

There are no further Free Friday performances this season. Please check back next season, when we will announce upcoming concerts.
