Born in Montreal, Quebec, Yannick Nézet-Séguin has been music director of The Metropolitan Opera in New York since the 2018–19 season, music and artistic director of The Philadelphia Orchestra since 2012, and artistic director and principal conductor of l’Orchestre métropolitain de Montréal since 2000. A three-time Grammy Award winner, he has conducted the world’s greatest orchestras and soloists, and has made it his mission to make classical music a more representative and inclusive art form. For Maestro, Nézet-Séguin collaborated with Bradley Cooper as the conducting consultant and conductor of new recordings.
