Eleven-year-old American-Brazilian composer and singer Paloma Dineli Chesky has participated in the New York Philharmonic’s Very Young Composers program since the age of nine. In April 2018 Philharmonic musicians, with Ms. Dineli Chesky as vocalist, performed her composition Peace in All Worlds, written through the Philharmonic’s Musical Postcards initiative, in which students from different countries share stories and musical ideas. Paloma Dineli Chesky began studying piano at the age of five at Kaufman Music Center’s Lucy Moses School, and currently attends the Professional Performing Arts School in New York City.
