Biography
Jihea Hong Park

Pianist Jihea Hong-Park performs regularly as recitalist, soloist, and chamber musician in cities throughout the United States and abroad. She has been featured at major venues including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital and Zankel Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Hall, Steinway Hall, Korea's Incheon Performing Arts Center, Yun I-Sang Concert Hall, Japan’s Komae Ecorma Hall and Niigata Performing Arts Center among others. She has also appeared often as guest artist and lecturer at universities and colleges in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Ms. Hong-Park received her B.M. and M.M. degrees at The Juilliard School. Upon her master's graduation in 2003, she received the school’s highest award, William Schuman Prize for her exceptional achievement, leadership and service in music. Ms. Hong-Park is currently a doctoral candidate in the Music and Music Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is presently on faculty at The Juilliard School’s Evening Division and the New York Philharmonic Teaching Artists.
