Our education programs are widely recognized as national models and are replicated by cultural institutions across the country and the world.

A gift to the New York Philharmonic’s Education Fund has never been more valuable. The challenging economy continues to threaten programs for lifelong learning in our schools and communities as we maintain our commitment to educational programs. Your support makes it possible for our programming to reach more than 56,000 students, parents and teachers all over the tri-state area, as well as millions more online through nyphil.org and nyphilkids.org.

In 2012-13, when dwindling resources continue to threaten programs, we remain committed to providing free or heavily subsidized educational programs to the broadest range of individuals. These programs include:

  • The School Partnership Program, serving over 3,200 3rd through 5th grade students in 14 schools that are at risk of cutting back on music education
  • The Young People’s Concerts, the longest running concerts series for young people in the country. These sell out concerts are kept affordable thanks to Education Fund gifts
