Dear Friends and Patrons

I was absolutely thrilled to learn that the Friends and Patrons of the New York Philharmonic had accepted the challenge of raising $250,000 in the next three years to name my chair in the Orchestra, The Friends and Patrons Chair. It is a great honor and I am delighted that by naming my chair we can help to raise funds for the Orchestra.

All of us in the Orchestra appreciate the wonderful New York audience who are so supportive of our work. I know that Friends and Patrons have a very special bond with us through their attendance at Open Rehearsals, pre-concert Friends Evenings, and Dinners and Special Events. To those that buy tickets, and contribute, we are doubly grateful. Your support allows us to keep ticket prices at a level that allows everyone to hear our music; undertake our Education and Community Engagement Programs, and our ever-popular New York City Parks Concerts.

I am very excited about our three year campaign together as we raise the $250,000 we need for The Friends and Patrons Chair.

We are very grateful for all contributions to Yulia’s Chair Fund, but for the following donations we are able to offer some unique benefits:

• For a contribution of $250 or more your name will be listed in Playbill at the conclusion of the campaign
• For a contribution of $500 or more your name will be added to a Commemorative Book which will live in the New York Philharmonic Archives in perpetuity
• For a contribution of $2,000 or more you will be invited to meet Yulia Ziskel at a private event
