Endow an Orchestra Chair
Make Your Gift an Instrument of Enduring Support
Many of our most dedicated concertgoers have a longstanding affinity for a particular musician or instrument. For these individuals, the endowment of an orchestra chair is an extraordinarily satisfying way to support the Philharmonic. Many donors who choose to give in this way enjoy close relationships with our musicians and become valued members of the Philharmonic family.
Orchestra chairs may be endowed for a term of ten or twenty-five years for gifts between $250,000 and $2.5 million. Endowments may be funded over a maximum of five years. The donor’s name will appear on the Philharmonic roster page for all concerts of the New York Philharmonic worldwide.
We invite you to meet the Orchestra, review the list of available chairs below, and contact us to discuss how you can endow an orchestra chair in one of the world’s most renowned symphony orchestras. You may also read stories about what inspired donors to endow orchestra chairs.
