Support Education

Your Gift to the New York Philharmonic Education Fund Has the Power to Open the Hearts of Thousands of Children to a Lifelong Love of Music!

Now in its 84th consecutive year, the New York Philharmonic's Young People's Concerts® is the longest-running series of children's concerts in the world.

Made famous by Leonard Bernstein through his memorable television broadcasts in the 1950s and 1960s, generations of music-lovers have had their first symphonic musical experiences at the Philharmonic's Young People's Concerts. Perhaps you were one of these children yourself…or, perhaps a young person in your life has been so fortunate to have benefited from this life-changing experience thanks to you.

With your support, we can continue to change young lives, by ensuring that future generations of children will not be deprived of this magical experience.

Like all concerts, costs for Young People's Concerts are not fully covered by ticket sales alone, even when they are 100% sold out. In order to ensure that we can keep ticket prices low enough to allow access for children from all economic brackets, your support is absolutely critical.

Your contribution to the Philharmonic's Education Fund is surely a gift that will touch young lives, opening children's hearts to a lifelong love of music!
