Take the Challenge ...

... To Help Protect and Preserve our Archive's Leonard Bernstein Collection

The New York Philharmonic Archives, which serves as a repository for more than 165 years of Philharmonic history, is one of the most important orchestral research collections in the world.

Among other treasures is the vast collection of Leonard Bernstein's conducting scores, recordings, planning papers, memos, correspondence, photographs and more ... all urgently in need of preservation.

We're thrilled to announce that we have been awarded a Federal grant as part of the national Save America's Treasures initiative that will match, dollar for dollar, gifts from friends like you, to enable us to preserve, protect, and make available this irreplaceable collection for generations to come.

Please won't you help us to preserve the history of Leonard Bernstein by making a gift today, when it will be doubled, thanks to the Save America's Treasures grant?

To thank you for your support, for your gift of $250 or more, we will send you a collectible souvenir book (while supplies last), Bernstein: The Best of all Possible Worlds, AND inscribe your name on a document that will be kept in the Philharmonic's Archives in perpetuity to certify that your generosity helped make this project possible.
