Musical Encounters offer students in grades 3-12 an up-close glimpse of the New York Philharmonic and the exciting world of orchestral music.

Option #1: with an Introductory Workshop - students meet at 10:30 for a 45-minute workshop, followed by sitting in on the second hour of a Philharmonic rehearsal. Most appropriate for students who may be new to the concert hall or to the orchestra.

Option #2: with a Post-Rehearsal Meeting - students attend an entire rehearsal (beginning at 9:45am) and then meet with a member of the orchestra for a brief question and answer session. Most appropriate for students with some concert-going or musical experience.

**PLEASE NOTE: Each option can accommodate a maximum of 90 participants.**

Cost: $6 per student, 1 free chaperone per 10 students

Order Form*: Please check back later in the summer for an Order Form.
