Conservatory Collaborations

The New York Philharmonic provides unique opportunities for students musicians, composers and conductors to meet with their colleagues and mentors in a variety of settings.

If you are interested in participating in any of the below collaborations, please send an email to education@nyphil.org, and indicate your academic affiliation.

Open Rehearsals
Free admission is offered to university-level students upon request.

Conductors' Tables
Conducting students meet with conductors associated with the Philharmonic - including the Music Director and guest conductors - in informal discussions following selected rehearsals.

Composers' Tables
Master composers whose works are being performed by the Philharmonic meet with student composers.

Access to Rehearsals
Pre-professional and professional conductors and composers are welcome to sit in on selected closed rehearsals. Proof of education or professional affiliation is necessary.
