Open Rehearsals
Open Rehearsals begin at 9:45 AM (except where noted) in Avery Fisher Hall, and end at approximately 12:30 PM (sometimes extending to 1 PM, at the discretion of the conductor).

An Open Rehearsal is a fascinating opportunity to watch the New York Philharmonic at work, and see how a piece of music is shaped and polished by the conductor and the musicians. Tickets are $18 each and an be ordered online, by phone, by mail, by fax, or in person at the Avery Fisher Hall Box Office. Please note there is a $2.00 per ticket handling fee for all online and phone orders.
Friends & Patrons Open Rehearsals/Coffee Bars
Prior to select Open Rehearsals, Friends and Patrons may enjoy complimentary beverages and light refreshments at the Philharmonic Coffee Bar located on the Grand Promenade from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM, unless otherwise stated. Look for the double asterisk (**) to the right of the Open Rehearsal dates below to find this year's Friends & Patrons Open Rehearsals/Coffee Bars.
Open Rehearsals for the 2010-11 season will be available for purchase starting August 8 for subscribers, and August 22 for the general public.
