Alan Gilbert and director Douglas Fitch bring György Ligeti's fantastical 1975 opera, perhaps the most humorous and irony-filled examination of mortality ever composed, to the Philharmonic stage for its New York Premiere.

Gustav Mahler — Symphony No. 3
