To celebrate Bernstein's powerful presence and legendary live performances, the New York Philharmonic released Bernstein Live!, a 10-CD set featuring Leonard Bernstein as conductor, soloist, and educator. The present single CD compilation, derived from the complete set, was selected with music teachers and classroom educators in mind.
