The New York Philharmonic, led by Music Director Lorin Maazel, is returning to Japan and Korea, where they were warmly welcomed with standing ovations in sold-out concerts on their last trip in October 2004. Joining the Orchestra on this trip will be six exciting young artists — four making their Philharmonic debuts. En route to the Far East, the Philharmonic will stop in California for two concerts in Costa Mesa, helping to inaugurate the new Rene and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.
